State opposition leader and BJP MLA from Nandigram, Suvendu Adhikari, actively participated in the temple cleanliness campaign initiated by the BJP in Nandigram. As part of the campaign, aligned with the upcoming inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Adhikari performed puja and cleaned theReapara Shiva Temple premises. The BJP, following the Prime Minister's directives, has launched a nationwide temple cleaning initiative, and Adhikari emphasized the importance of cleaning all temples, not just the Ram Mandir.
During the cleanliness drive, Adhikari cleaned the temple square, addressing the significance of the campaign for Sanatan and Indian traditions. Mentioning the excitement surrounding the Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration, he highlighted historical sacrifices and the preparation of over 1000 shrines for special puja. Other BJP leaders across the country, including state president Sukant Majumder and All India President JP Nadda, have also participated in similar temple cleaning campaigns ahead of the much-anticipated inauguration on January 22.
